Heyveon Clemons is a native of North, South Carolina. He currently attends Benedict College as a sophomore majoring in Accounting. He maintains a 3.9 GPA and is expected to graduate in spring 2022.
Mr. Clemons is involved with many organizations on Benedict’s campus, including the Benedict Chapter of Collegiate 100 and Brothers in Unity program. He is also an active member of Flora Branch Church and serves as an usher and youth choir member. After graduating, Mr. Clemons plans to pursue a Master of Accounting degree to further his goal of becoming an entrepreneur who continuously pours back into his community. He believes in giving to those that have helped him and helping those who are in need.
Antonio Lambright, Jr.
Antonio Lambright Jr. has lived in Las Vegas, NV, for nine years. He graduated from Word of Life Christian Academy as Valedictorian of his class and was the Student Body President during his senior year of high school. Mr. Lambright is a sophomore majoring in Business Administration. During his fellowship Antonio maintained a 3.7 GPA and is expected to graduate in spring 2022.
Because of his academic excellence, he was chosen to serve as a member of the Benedict College School of Honors. Along with being studious, he is active on his campus and in his community. He is currently a loyal member of Benedict College’s student-led group Brothers in Unity, which strives for career exploration, service and leadership development. Additionally, Mr. Lambright serves as one of the lead drummers of the award-winning Benedict College Gospel Choir.
In the future, Mr. Lambright plans to own his own global music production company. Because of his passion for music, he has plans to travel the world and play drums for the biggest artists in the music industry, as well as solidify his business and leave a legacy of giving for his future children.
Mr. Shawn Brown, a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, is a rising junior majoring in Business Administration with the concentration in Marketing. He currently maintains a 3.23 GPA and is expected to graduate in May 2020. He is actively involved on campus serving as Mr. Junior 2018-19, serving as a Student Ambassador, serving as the drummer for the gospel choir and is member of MALES organization and Collegiate 100 Leadership Organization on campus.
Brown says, “The reason I decided to run for Mr. Junior is because I desire to ensure that students have all the tools they need to take themselves higher, as well as the tools to help lift up others. I believe if students see someone their age achieving leadership, excellence and success, it would motivate them to want to do the same.”
Brown’s future plan is to graduate from Benedict College with a Bachelors Degree in Business Marketing. He believes the hard work he is putting in right now will eventually pay off. He strives to be a role model for others that want to pursue their dreams of higher education.
Mr. Charles Sheffield is a native of Miami, FL. He graduated from Miramar High school in Miramar Florida and participated in Junior Reserve Officer Training Corp (J.R.O.T.C) while there for all four years of his high school tenure.
He is currently a senior majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Management. He maintains a 4.0 GPA and is expected to graduate in May 2018. He is actively involved on campus serving as Parliamentarian of the School of Honors and Secretary of Delta Mu Delta. His interest in the field of business revolves around the area of talent management.
Mr. Sheffield serves his country in the United States Army as a Communications technician where he works to predict future gang, organized crime, or terrorist activity, using analyses of intelligence data as well as designs, uses, and maintains databases and software applications, such as geographic information systems (GIS) mapping and artificial intelligence tools.
Mr. Sheffield’s future plan is to pursue a Master of Business Administration degree. He truly believes that scholars should not lose their thirst for knowledge, if they plan to be a pioneer in the business sector and remain relevant. He strives to be a role model for other aspiring students that want to pursue their dream of higher education.
Mr. Timothy Sheffield is a senior majoring in Mass Communication from Hampton, Georgia.
He is currently maintaining a 3.61 GPA and is expected to graduate in the spring of May 2016. In addition, he is actively involved on the campus as a student assistant to the men’s basketball coach as well as volunteering in the Office of Freshmen Institute.
Mr. Pritchett volunteers at First Baptist Church with the Children Ministry and also volunteers at First Baptist Church in feeding the homeless.
Mr. Tyler McAllister is a sophomore majoring in Business Management from Columbia, South Carolina.
He is currently maintaining a 3.68 GPA and is expected to graduate in the spring of May 2018. In addition, he is a member of Benedict College football team and plays the tight end position.
Mr. McAllister also volunteers at Brookland Baptist Children’s Church Worship as an assistant.
