Meet our Fellows
Our President’s Fellows are selected to participate in this leadership development program through a competitive interview process among African American male students from Allen University, Benedict College, Claflin University, and South Carolina State University. These are exemplary students who have the drive and ambition to excel as future leaders.

Matthew Bradshaw

- Pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering
- Serves as the President of the National Society of Black Engineers and as Public Relations Officer for Claflin University’s Global Student Organization
- Serves as a Claflin University Career Ambassador
Ja'varrius Wilson
2022-2023 Fellow
Expected Graduation: 2024, Benedict College
- Pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration
- Serves as a student-athlete as a member of the Benedict College Tigers football team
- Member of Benedict College’s Resident Advisors Association
Charles Wofford

- Pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science
- Serves as a Claflin Career Ambassador, on the Claflin University ACT, and in the Honors College Community Service group
- Member of the Alice Carson Tisdale Honors College, student National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), the Memphis chapter of Jack and Jill, Incorporate, and the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church
