Donna Waites, Vice President of Programs
P. 803.254.0230, EXT. 12
Donna Waites gets things done. Whether it is helping grantees fill out an application, carting her two girls to their numerous soccer games, or finishing grad school in just one year—she gets things done.
This “get it done” attitude is part of what makes Donna such an asset to the Foundation. She consistently uses this focus and drive to help our grantees maximize their potential. Donna truly believes in the work that our grantees are doing, because it aligns so closely with what matters to her—a healthy community. According to her, health means much more than just health care. “I am passionate about the overall health and well-being of communities in terms of access to essential resources,” Donna says.
Everyone who meets Donna sees how fiercely she cares for her family. They see it in big gestures like taking in family during a crisis, or small ones like raving over the latest Pixar film she and her girls had to go see. Either way, Donna wholeheartedly cares.
“Too many people think that finding the reason God placed us here on earth will come in one assignment with a big title and complete job description. I believe that discovering our purpose will unfold slowly, like a seed planted deep in the ground.” Lysa TerKeurst, Christian author, speaker, and blogger
