Donna Waites

President

Donna Waites serves as the Foundation’s president. In this role, she oversees all staff who manage grants, public policy and advocacy, and diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB).  Donna is deeply involved in staff leadership development and training, as well as communications and strategic planning.

Donna began working in the nonprofit sector in 2000 as the first fund development staff person for Healthy Learners at Sisters of Charity of St. Augustine. Later, she helped build the Providence Hospitals Development Foundation, serving as director of philanthropy. She joined Sisters of Charity Foundation of South Carolina in early 2015.
