Katrina Spigner, Senior Program Director of the Sisters of Charity Foundation of South Carolina, will transition into a new role with the Foundation effective May 1 2015. Ms. Spigner will begin serving as a Consultant for Education and Leadership and work closely with the Foundation’s Carolina Academy. She currently provides oversight to the Academy and is responsible for the development and implementation of capacity building opportunities for nonprofit organizations and leaders across the state.
Ms. Spigner started as a Consultant with the Foundation in 2003 and became a full time staff person in 2005 and has been a loyal and dedicated team player for nearly ten years. During her tenure, she has been instrumental in the development of the Foundation’s grantmaking and capacity building efforts including the Carolina Academy, Leadership Certificate Program, Leadership Development Program, Distance Learning Programs, the PLACE Fellows Program and also many parts of the Foundation’s responsive and strategic grant programs.
Ms. Spigner will focus her work in new and innovative ways in the areas of personal and executive coaching, organizational consulting, and inspirational speaking. Ms. Spigner is also in the final year of her Doctoral program at Northeastern University. “We are grateful for the many gifts and talents that Katrina has brought to the Sisters of Charity Foundation for well over a decade.” Said Tom Keith, Foundation President. “We are so excited that she will continue to play an important role in helping with the Foundation’s leadership, education, and capacity building efforts.”
