Patricia Littlejohn serves as Special Assistant to the President for the Sisters of Charity Foundation of South Carolina.
She is responsible for the development, implementation and oversight of the Foundation's statewide strategic grantmaking initiative, Reducing Poverty Through Father Engagement, which began in 1997. The multi-year initiative resulted in a multi-million dollar investment to establish and sustain community and faith-based fatherhood programs.
Mrs. Littlejohn is a graduate of Columbia College and has served on the National Practitioners Network for Fathers and Families. Mrs. Littlejohn joined the Foundation at its inception in 1996.
In 2002 the Foundation established the South Carolina Center for Fathers and Families to provide on-going leadership for the Initiative, to support the local programs and to advocate for father-friendly policies and practices. The Center actively solicits private foundation and state and federal government funding as well as major gifts from individuals. Mrs. Littlejohn has served as the Executive Director for the Center since 2005.
She and her husband Buddy have two sons, Matt and Micah. When there is free time, they enjoy entertaining, boating, fishing, golfing, sunning, gardening and spending time outdoors.
