Allison Cowherd joined the Foundation in 2007. In her current position as communications associate, she is responsible for creating and implementing communications strategies and plans for the Foundation.
Allison holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communications from the University of South Carolina. Prior to serving as communications and research associate, she most recently served as communications manager for the South Carolina Center for Fathers and Families in Columbia, S.C.
Allison and her husband, Jon, have a son, Parker, and dog, Brice. Her hobbies include photography and cheering for the University of South Carolina Gamecocks.
