Foundation and Columbia College Launch Nonprofit Certificate Program

The Sisters of Charity Foundation of South Carolina and Columbia College are accepting applications for the Nonprofit Leadership Training Certificate Program, an expansion of their graduate level course. The certificate program is open to nonprofit leaders in South Carolina, and participants will receive nine SACS accredited graduate-level hours and a certificate in Nonprofit Leadership & Innovation.

With classes from August 2010 through August 2011, the certificate program will provide nonprofit leaders the opportunity to enhance knowledge, skills and frameworks to lead nonprofit organizations in an ever-changing diverse society.

This continued partnership is an expansion of the Foundation’s Learning Academy, which offers free daylong workshops and training to nonprofits addressing poverty across the state. The Foundation will cover the cost of tuition for each student accepted and enrolled in to the Nonprofit Leadership Training Certificate Program. Nonprofit leaders may obtain more information, including class dates and an application, on the Foundation's Web site. Completed applications and official college transcripts are due to the Foundation by May 31, 2010.

If you, or someone you know, is a nonprofit leader recognized as having great potential and are ready to take your nonprofit leadership to the next level, than apply today.
