Allison Cowherd joined the Foundation in 2007 as project coordinator. In this position, she is responsible for planning and coordinating Foundation workshops, statewide meetings, training seminars and special events. Mrs. Cowherd works closely with both the fatherhood and collaboration for ministry initiatives.

Mrs. Cowherd holds a bachelor's degree in journalism and mass communications from the University of South Carolina. Prior to joining the Foundation, she worked as an intern at Palmetto Health in Columbia, S.C.

She and her husband, Jon, have a son, Parker, and a dog named Brice.
