John Boudreaux joined the Foundation Board in 2002.

As founding principal of The Boudreaux Group in 1976, Mr. Boudreaux has built a successful architectural, interior design and planning firm that has designed innumerable educational, office and church projects in the Southeast; many receiving design awards. Mr. Boudreaux is a registered architect in South Carolina and North Carolina, and is a graduate of Louisiana State University and has been actively involved in community and church activities throughout his adult life.

In addition to serving as President of the Sisters of Charity Foundation of South Carolina Board from 2006 through 2008, Mr. Boudreaux has served as a former board member and past president of the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce; the Clemson Advancement Foundation; the Babcock Center Foundation and the Council on Aging of the Midlands. Mr. Boudreaux is also a former board member of the Cultural Council, the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Midlands and has chaired the advisory board of Cardinal Newman High School and its finance committee. As a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, he has been involved in numerous ministries and activities for over 38 years.

Married to his wife Carol, an educator, they have five children and three grandchildren. Mr. Boudreaux is committed to building up of our community and state, including addressing the root cause of poverty, and devotes much of his time towards these priorities.
